I'm a big believer that one of the first pieces of information that an individual notices is the type of one's brand. In the case of Jacob Halsema Photography, I have spent time tweaking the way in which I want my brand to look in order to tell the story of JHP.
Below, you will find descriptions as to why I chose the two types I did for Jacob Halsema Photography.

Logo
The Jacob Halsema Photography logo embodies the mentality of toughness and grit when it comes to covering academic events. The old-school feel to the logo helps Jacob Halsema Photography stand out as more than just a photography and multimedia company, and the Canterbury Regular type does just that.
Along with the hard edges, parts of the logo showcases rounded sections, which brings light to the developing creative side of Jacob Halsema Photography.

In somewhat of a contrast, the body type for Jacob Halsema features two versions within the Helvetica family.
To the left is the 'a' in said family, which embodies the focus on creative content production within the walls of disciplined structure. This specific type, with it's rounded look, allows for easily-digestible reading as well.
Helvetica is the perfect representation of the creative values that are vital within Jacob Halsema Photography.
